disable windows defender

that's it -- defender is neutralized.
STEP 02
disable kernel protections
open PowerShell as Admin and run ALL of these:

reboot your pc
Kernel changes from Step 02 require a restart to take effect.

disable secure boot (if needed)
Only if the driver still fails after rebooting.

uninstall other anti-cheats
Remove any anti-cheat that isn't ACE. Vanguard, EAC, BattlEye -- their kernel drivers conflict with ours. ACE is fine.
STEP 06
uninstall security software (if driver fails)
If the driver fails to load after completing the steps above, you must fully uninstall any third-party antivirus, anti-malware, anti-rootkit, or sandbox software. These install kernel drivers that block our driver even when "disabled". Defender should already be disabled from Step 01.

Right click > Run as administrator. The overlay will appear once ready.

Low risk when used properly. Avoid obvious tells: don't spray 100 rounds from a bolt-action at 5x fire rate while speed hacking. If other players can see what you're doing and think something's off -- that's when reports happen.
